After the adventure, the day ends with a relaxing riverside sauna and dinner experience at Huotinniemi, close to the Russian border zone.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"vwt2v8\" data-start=\"448\" data-end=\"489\">The Great Whitewater Rafting Adventure<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"491\" data-end=\"693\">We will meet at Retkietappi in Juuma, where we will gear up before the adventure begins. The trip starts with the Niskakoski rapid \u2013 a Class II rapid that works as the perfect warm-up for the day ahead.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"695\" data-end=\"927\">After the warm-up, we head towards the fastest section of the trip! Myllykoski (Class III\u2013IV) begins with an impressive waterfall, and over the next 50 metres the rapid drops five metres, promising plenty of splashes and excitement.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"1163\">After Myllykoski, it is time to conquer Aallokkokoski! This Class IV rapid drops 21 metres over nearly 900 metres and offers an unforgettable experience for the whole group. The feeling after completing the rapid is simply incredible.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1165\" data-end=\"1291\">We will bypass Jyr\u00e4v\u00e4 on foot and move below the waterfall to catch the empty raft as it comes through the roaring whitewater.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1293\" data-end=\"1655\">From Jyr\u00e4v\u00e4 onwards, the atmosphere becomes more peaceful. We will float through several long Class I\u2013II rapids as the River Kitkajoki winds its way between steep rocky cliffs. This is the perfect moment to slow down and enjoy the stunning scenery of Oulanka National Park. At times, we simply let the current carry the raft while enjoying the silence of nature.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1657\" data-end=\"1926\">At Harrisuvanto we will stop for a picnic break by the campfire. Traditional campfire coffee and grilled sausages will be served before continuing downstream. The calm final section of the river gives time to relax, enjoy the scenery and reflect on the day\u2019s adventure.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1ph271p\" data-start=\"1928\" data-end=\"1985\">Wood-fired sauna and atmospheric dinner at Huotinniemi<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1987\" data-end=\"2237\">At Huotinniemi, a warm wood-fired sauna awaits the group on the banks of the River Oulankajoki. The sauna is the perfect place to unwind after an adventurous day on the river.
